Multiple Characters - The Rules of Them Empty Multiple Characters - The Rules of Them

The rules are pretty simple. You can have as many characters as you want to have, of all different kinds. However, there are some rules, and if you break them too many times or try to whine about it, you might be warned, or you might even end up with this privilege being taken away.

The first rule is that you cannot try to pose as more than one person. If you actually have DID/MPD and were diagnosed with it, then that's different, but don't (try) keep it a secret that all of your accounts are owned by the same person because I will find out. I've dealt with this sort of thing before, and I would not be happy to deal with it again.

The second rule is regarding character relations. Your characters can be related (siblings, cousins, parent/child, etcetera) but they can't be mates. Besides, having your own characters be mates makes you look desperate.

The third rule is that if you have one character in a high rank, you can't have another in a high rank. For example, if you have a character that's a General, you can't go and have a character that is a Shaman. Or if you're Second-in-Command (or dominant), then you can't have a character that's in any lead ranks.

The fourth rule is that your characters can't train each other (sparring/training to increase skills can only be done between two different people).

It's also best that you don't roleplay entirely by yourself, though this isn't really a rule but more of a suggestion.
